Small Offerings Series, 2003-Ongoing

Anne Lamott writes that there are only two basic prayers: help and thank you. These small fiber art pieces are made from similar impulses. They are either studies for larger pieces—a kind of prayer for help, or they come from gathering leftover bits too fine to throw out—a way of giving thanks for what is completed. I hope you enjoy them as my small offerings as a visual artist.

A note on format: These mixed media fiber art pieces vary widely in materials and techniques as they were created alongside the larger ones from each series. They have simple wood or metal frames, and sizes are before framing.
